Nutrition Services DCSD Free Meals for Kids
 The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will extend the summer meal programs through the end of the 2020-21 school year. DCSD Nutrition Services began these services on September 18. Beginning Tuesday, January 5, breakfast and lunch bags will be available for pick-up at select DCSD neighborhood middle schools and all DCSD neighborhood high schools.  

SPRING BREAK
Over spring break Nutrition Services will be offering meal bags on Friday March 19th. Here is the information and a flyer spring break meals:

Week of March 15th - Spring Break Meal Bags:
Pickups on Friday March 19th from 1:00pm-2:00pm
Limited Pickup Sites: CVHS, MMS, PHS, CHS, MRMS, TRHS



  • Free for all kids 18 and under regardless of enrollment
  • 2-day meal bags for all in-person learners; pickup on Fridays only
  • Meal bags for all 100% Remote Learners or any kids 18 & under who are not full in-person learners: Tuesdays (3 days of meals) and Fridays (4 days of meals)
  • Pick-up time is 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays
  • Pick-up locations are select DCSD neighborhood middle schools and all DCSD neighborhood high schools; and Roxborough Primary Elementary (see the full list here)
  • Curbside pick-up and drive through in the parent drop-off lines (unless otherwise noted on list)

For In-Person Learners, lunch will still be free at all elementary and participating charter schools until the end of the school year.  Additional items such as milk, snacks and seconds will be available at cost.  We are also offering 2 day meal bags on Fridays only for our in-person learners.  


The menu can be viewed by clicking on the School Menus tab to the right, or the Lunch Menus tab above and selecting 2, 3 and 4 Day Remote Weekly Meal Bags Menu.  There will be periodic substitutions of items due to inventory shortages from our manufacturers.
